Growing Together: Famoriyo Foundation’s Farmer Mentorship Circles.
In many rural communities, farming knowledge is often passed down informally or limited to tradition. At Famoriyo Foundation, we recognize the value of shared experiences, which is why we are introducing Farmer Mentorship Circles — safe spaces where experienced farmers mentor younger or less experienced ones.
These circles are built on trust, peer-to-peer learning, and problem-solving. Farmers come together to discuss planting seasons, pest control, and innovative techniques, while also supporting one another emotionally and socially. It’s more than knowledge — it’s about community.
We’ve identified key local leaders to guide these mentorship groups and host monthly meetups. These gatherings are informal but powerful, leading to better decision-making and increased productivity in the fields.
At Famoriyo Foundation, we’re not just planting crops — we’re planting confidence, relationships, and shared success.
